On arrival you will be greeted by a smiling receptionist and given an ice-cold ginger and tamarind juice drink, which is just an opening example of the attention to detail, hospitality and service you will receive during your whole time at the spa. Such personnal consideration is an integral part of the overall service provided. Quality of service is assured as each of the hightly skilled therapists have been trained at Wat Po; a world famous massage-teaching Buddhist Temple in Bangkok. There is even a fully qualified, resident massage trainer/assessor working at Eranda Spa to ensure that all treatments and techniques remain ture tradition.
Eranda may have the appearance of an exclusive five-star resort, but this is purely a spa environment. There is nothing here to disctract you from your choice of massage or treatment. In fact, all you will hear is the sound of trickling water, the rustle of palm trees swaying in the breeze and the hushed soothing tones of subtle Thai music. Eranda Herbal Spa has the relaxing and soothing ambience you would expect from a high quality spa facility. Eranda currently has 10 luxury private salas and one large sala for groups of up to eight people. There is an extraordinary steam room fashioned out of natural rock which can reach temperature up to 45 degrees Celsius. To complement this, there is also a cool plunge pool with a cascading waterfall feature from where you can sit back and relax whilst enjoying the view across the ocean to the neighbouring islands. The whole spa is encompassed by established tropical gardens which add to the natural and peaceful ambience.
